Mistakes. We all make them.
I used to rake myself over the coals when things screwed up. And if you’re like me, you definitely get the opportunity to second-guess your decisions. I bet that’s why there’s a Delete key and, in the past, Wite-Out.
But I’m not bothered by the mistakes anymore. We’re all works-in-progress, and what better way to test the waters than to screw things up? So here I go, boldly into the future. But this time I’ll try to keep my fingers out of the cage, and dance lightly on the ice.
They say practice makes perfect, and besides, it’s not the mistakes we make, it’s the recovery, which I’ve had plenty of time to practice.
